Hywel Dda University Health Board
Mrs S complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board failed to respond to complaints she submitted in September 2022 and February 2023.
The Ombudsman decided that there had been a significant delay in the Health Board’s response and this caused inconvenience and frustration for Mrs S. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to apologise to Mrs S and provide her with a complaint response within one week.
