Hywel Dda University Health Board
Ms E complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board failed to respond to a complaint she submitted in August 2022.
The Ombudsman found there had been a significant delay in the Health Board concluding its investigation. This caused additional frustration and uncertainty for Ms E.
The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation. She sought and gained the Health Board’sagreement to issue its complaint response within 4 weeks.
