Hywel Dda University Health Board
Mr G complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board had failed to provide him with a response to the complaint he submitted in June 2022.
The Ombudsman decided that there had been a significant delay in the Health Board’s response which had caused inconvenience and frustration for Mr G. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to apologise to Mr G and offer him redress of £250 in recognition of the delays. The Health Board also agreed to issue the complaint response within 30 working days.
