Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
Ms X complained that Aneurin Bevan University Health Board failed to respond to a complaint submitted in August 2022.
The Ombudsman found there had been a significant delay in the Health Board concluding its investigation. This caused additional frustration and uncertainty to Ms X.
The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation. She sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to issue its complaint response by 31 August 2023.
