Hywel Dda University Health Board
Mr K complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board had failed to provide him with a response to the complaint he made in September 2022.
The Ombudsman decided that the Health Board had failed to update Mr K on the progress of the complaint as often as it should have which caused inconvenience and frustration to him.
The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation and sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to apologise to Mr K within 7 working days and issue its response within 4 weeks.
