Ms X complained about delays with the Council’s investigation in response to her Social Services complaint about the care of her son.
The Ombudsman decided that the Council should provide Ms X with its Stage 2 response by 31 August 2022. It should also write to her to advise of the current position with her outstanding complaints.
The Ombudsman considered this to be an appropriate resolution to the complaint instead of conducting an investigation.
