Miss X complained that she had not received an adequate response from the Council in relation to a complaint she had made concerning the way in which it had handled safeguarding concerns about both her and a colleague.
The Ombudsman contacted the Council, which agreed to provide a full response to Miss X by 29 July and to apologise for the delay in replying to her. The Ombudsman considered this to constitute a suitable resolution and did not investigate.
