A GP Practice in the area of Swansea Bay University Health Board
Mrs D complained that SA1 Medical Centre failed to process her prescriptions and that her complaint had not been answered.
The Ombudsman found that the Centre had no record of the complaint which was sent by email to the correct address. She said this caused additional frustration to Mrs D.
The Ombudsman decided to settlement the complaint without an investigation and sought the Centre’s agreement to formally log the complaint and respond directly to Mrs D.
